Below are various renders I made using Blender, the free and open source 3D creation suite. Most of these were made simply as acts of self expression as a hobby. These pieces might be a bit leftfield, with strong mood. My goal was simply to have the viewer to feel something, however subjective.
The program Blender is a behemoth to learn, having a nearly limitless skill ceiling. There’s always something to learn and study. Most shaders in my pieces were made entirely using procedural shading, lead by pure math, making patterns that mimic those seen in nature.

White Flower Oil
White Flower Oil is a potent, multi-purpose essential oil blend used for pain relief, aromatherapy, and clearing sinuses. Originating from Chinese medicine, it typically combines eucalyptus, lavender, peppermint, and wintergreen oils. People use it topically for headaches, muscle aches, and insect bites, or inhale it for respiratory relief. Think of it as a badass, all-natural remedy in a tiny bottle. The smell is unforgettable and I love bringing a bottle of it with me to shows. It grows on you with each use, and I found it nostalgic enough to capture its cooling refreshing character in this render, designed to feel like a Playstation 1 render, with it’s nostalgic vertex snapping.
Cactus Blooms
A render of mine, mixing various tools. I leveraged Stable Diffusion AI graphics, found nature footage, and blender special effects to composite this all together. The music by Skee Mask.
Lumarian Quartz
An animation of a crystal famous for it’s horizontal barcode-like ridges, and its so-called spiritual healing effects. The animation is set to a track by Gonna called Warbly FM.
Nautilus Shell
In late December 2024, I attended a class for intuitive gifts. During an exercise, I presented a turned-over card and asked to sense what was shown on the other side. I didn’t feel much, and said “I sense a overwhelming sense of calm and comfort perhaps”. When I turned it over, it revealed an illustration of a nautilus shell over the sea. That evening, while telling a friend about the class, they showed me their deck of cards I hadn’t seen before. Curious, I hastily pulled one randomly from the middle, which to my surprise was the same nautilus card. It felt like it was following me.
A week later, during a Winter Solstice gathering, someone suggested we each draw a card from that same deck and reflect on it. Everyone pulled a unique card and felt a connection to whichever one they pulled. When I pulled mine, for the third time, it was the nautilus card again. It was clearly meant for me.
The card represents “Being” and an unwinding toward your destiny. It’s from the Supra deck by Uusi, an oracle deck used for insights, much like tarot. I decided to memorialize it through this dreamlike animation.
